INDEPENDENTS are heading out for yet another plundering
conquest of this great land of ours. Icy roads, bus crashes
and dislocated limbs be damned... NOTHING can stop the fetid
forces of Evil Presly and Willy B!
Formerly managed and produced
by the late, great JOEY RAMONE, THE INDEPENDENTS have performed
almost non-stop, touring with bands such as THE RAMONES, MISFITS,
VOODOO GLOW SKULLS, CHEAP TRICK and THE QUEERS; just to name
a few. THE INDEPENDENTS have six releases under their belt
and are currently working on a new full length scheduled to
be released early 2005.
The non-stop marathon touring
is about to start up again, so beware! THE INDEPENDENTS are
going to play the music they want, when, where, and how they

Beware European Fiends,
The Eternal Bond Tour will be creeping over your way in January- February 2006! That's right kiddies
we have teamed up with diabolical MAD booking to take over Europe once and for all. Some of you might
know Mad by some of the bands they book like Agnostic Front, The Distillers,The Exploited, Hate breed
and U.S. Bombs,the list goes on and on..We cannot wait to get over and make up all the dates that had
to be canned due to the bus Crash last year! Also be on the look out for The European release of the
soon to be recorded "Eternal Bond" Record with a few different Tracks just for the European Release.

Summer Plans For The Rude Boys In Black
Well now kiddies,
We are off the road for a short bit to record the new record "
Eternal Bond". Studio time at the Lazy i in Myrtle beach has
been booked for July and August so there is no turning back.
Brian McKenzie is coming back in to produce with us and a
possible appearance by Daniel Rey. We will be doing spot shows
around the south in July and August before hitting the road this
fall with the Queers and a possible run with our pals the
Suicide Machines. Look out Europe we are back in talk about
coming back in Jan-Feb. Here are the confirmed shows so far for

At least the Hamilton/Toronto/London shows that were scheduled for the next few days anyways.
The Independents will then pick up where they left off in Buffalo NY on May 23/05 so make sure

We received some bad news tonight. Looks like the shows in Trenton Ohio and Barrie Ontario have to
now be cancelled at the last minute. Nothing to do with us as we want to play anywhere and everywhere. All other shows are still on

The show tonight in Denver is off. We are snowed in and can't get anywhere becuase the hwy is closed. So we
are stuck in the middle of nowhere with some booze and a hot tub. Make sure you keep checking in on the tour news that is being posted.

Hey all you Goons,
We regret to inform yall That Due to the tightening of security at our
US borders, The Dangerfields will not be touring with us on our upcoming tour.
Seems these guys were just to ugly to let in. Please take the time to check them
out on their website
THE
DANGERFIELDS and pick up some of their merch. These really are a
great bunch of guys and a great band. We are really disappointed that they will
not be out with us.
OK now back to the Biz at hand.
We hit the road in less then a week. Please those easily frightened and
those with Heart Conditions stay home. This one is going to get Nasty! Willy B
has been out of his cast for a few weeks and is throwing out some mean chops.
LOOK OUT Don Knotts! The recording of Eternal Bond had to be pushed back to June
because of this and the fact that Daniel Rey is in such High Demand. ( Damn you
Nashville Pussy!) NO worries It worked out for the best, We now have more studio
time to work with and Brian Mckenzie along with Daniel Rey on board.
More Dates will be posted on our soon to be all new website as they come in
so keep checking. Can't wait to see you all again and please don't

THE INDEPENDENTS are just putting the finishing
touches on their upcoming North American tour so keep checking back here regularly for updated tour
dates and to see if they will be in a city near you.
In the meantime, there are 2 killer compitilation releases featuring The Independents that you don't want to miss. First off is Todos Somos Ramones put out by Rockaway Records (Argentina).
This is possibly the best Ramones tribute album ever and features The Independents with the one and only Joey Ramone singing
"Garden Of Serenity" recorded live at the Continental in NYC on December 12th, 1997.

In May, 2005 Continentalnyc.com Records will release Live at Continental – Best of NYC Vol. I &
II. Both these compilations will feature live tracks by The Independents doing their own songs as well as
Backing up Joey. Other artists that will be featured include Ramainz, Lunachicks, Waldos, Toilet Boys, and many
